When you hear “towing company,” your mind probably jumps straight to broken-down cars on the side of the road, and you’d be right – that’s a big part of what we do here at Allcar Towing. But we’re much more than just a roadside assistance service for your average sedan or ute. Based here in Victoria, we offer a comprehensive range of towing solutions, and one area we’re incredibly proficient in, and often called upon for, is machinery towing.
If you’re in the construction, landscaping, agricultural, or any industry that relies on moving equipment, you know the logistical challenges involved. Getting light machinery from one job site to another, to a sales yard, or even to a repair shop, requires specialised knowledge and the right equipment. That’s where Allcar Towing steps in, making what could be a headache, a smooth and efficient process.
The AllCar Towing Advantage for Machinery
You might be thinking, “Allcar Towing? What do they know about machinery?” The answer is, a great deal! Our fleet isn’t just equipped for cars; we have the diverse range of tow trucks, including tilt trays and flatbeds, that are perfectly suited for safely and securely transporting a variety of light machinery. Our operators are extensively trained not only in general towing procedures but also in the specific requirements for loading, securing, and transporting different types of equipment. This means less stress for you and guaranteed safe transit for your valuable assets.
No Problem for Light Machinery
When we talk about ‘light machinery,’ we’re encompassing a broad spectrum of essential equipment that keeps businesses running across Victoria. Is it a forklift that needs to be moved from your warehouse in Geelong to a new distribution centre in Bendigo? No problem at all. Do you have a scissor lift that’s finished a job in Ballarat and needs to be taken to another site in Shepparton? We’ve got it covered.
We regularly handle the transportation of:
- Forklifts: Whether it’s a compact electric model for indoor use or a larger industrial forklift, we have the capacity to move them efficiently.
- Scissor Lifts: Crucial for various elevated works, these can be tricky to transport without the right setup, but our tilt trays make it simple.
- Rollers: Small compaction rollers for landscaping or roadworks are a common sight on our trucks.
- Mini Excavators and Skid Steer Loaders: Often used for smaller-scale earthmoving and demolition, these agile machines are easily transported by our team.
- Generators and Air Compressors: Larger industrial units that require specialist transport are well within our capabilities.
- Site Accommodation Units (smaller sizes): For those compact mobile offices or storage containers.
- And many other equipment types: If it fits on our tilt tray and is within our weight limits for light machinery, chances are we can move it!
